If anyone knows what makes a good foundation, it’s Trespa, a leading innovator in architectural materials based in the Netherlands, with branch offices and warehouses in Germany and China.

For over six years, the company has relied on us, GNX, for all its global connectivity. This partnership is built on shared values and strengthened by our ability to quickly adapt to the company’s evolving requirements—all supported by our extensive portfolio of internet and private solutions.

The ask: one partner for all their business connectivity needs

As a manufacturing company, Trespa’s operations are quite diverse. It includes a factory in Weert, the Netherlands, offices and warehouses in Germany and China, and a remote workforce roaming wherever business takes them. Their connectivity needs are equally mixed, though all emphasize reliability, seamless access to cloud-based resources and applications, responsiveness, and timely deliveries.

At GNX, we were happy to take all those on board.

Seamless access for users in China

Leveraging GNX private connectivity combined with a Cloud Fabric solution, Trespa’s users in Shanghai are fully integrated with the global application landscape and resources in the public cloud, enjoying a seamless experience for better collaboration

Scalable and flexible solutions

GNX global internet services have enabled Trespa to scale at pace along the company’s transformation, new branch openings, and global WAN optimization initiatives. For sites where fiber wasn’t available, timely deliveries were ensured with temporary 4G services.

Express route between SAP and Azure

Our solutions have also helped Trespa when needing to integrate their SAP S/4HANA to Azure’s public cloud. Using Microsoft  Express Route combined with GNX’s Fabric solution, Trespa can now migrate and run its SAP environment in the cloud, allowing it to take advantage of the scalability, flexibility, and cost-efficiency of Azure.

Full accountability along their journey

Our services do not end at contract signature. Full accountability throughout the rollout is key to ensure sites are up and running on time, dealing on case-by-case basis with the local ISPs, as well as partnering with their overlay MSP to support the integration of remote and travelling users into Trespa’s WAN.

GNX’s approach to solving connectivity challenges is unique in our industry. It involves a customer-first attitude, complete transparency, and an easy-to-work team that takes responsibility whenever necessary. I am particularly pleased with the openness and transparency in all our communications, as well as their willingness to take ownership throughout the entire project.

The result: a mixed approach to match Trespa's needs

Dedicated access, high-capacity fiber, and point-to-point connections. LTE/5G and microwave services for day-one deliveries and redundancy. GNX fabric connections bridge China to its global WAN. This is Trespa’s hybrid WAN environment, fully tailored to their requirements, all under one single contract, invoice, and point of contact for support.

Moreover, a team of experts that Trespa can rely on.
